Federal travelers using official payment methods need to be aware of the need for an override or exception to policy when a travel voucher is processed. It was also impossible to check in with a government travel credit card due to restrictions on how the merchant ID was coded in the billing system. Food options are extremely limited, with most of th options 20 min away offsite. The area couldnt be closed off to provide privacy and a better learning environment. There is very poor air quality/filtering in this venue. Everything reeked of cigarette smoke, wafting over from the casino, to include the hallways in the hotel area. Everything was set up in a closed restaurant space (Buffys) within the venue however, it was not conducive to learning with lack of control over the noise from machines and passerby guests. The venue lacks an official office space or conference room area for this kind of activity. This venue was selected as a venue for a four day seminar hosted on-site.
